She works as Director of Strategic Neighborhood Development at New Orleans Business Alliance where she is in charge of place-based development of indigenous African-American neighborhoods. DeVan Ecclesiates works to empower community leaders, particularly in economic opportunity, cultural preservation, affordable housing, transportation access and environmental sustainability.
