Chase Kalisz is an American competitive swimmer renowned for his prowess in individual medley events. Kalisz has established himself as one of the premier swimmers in the world, particularly excelling in the 200m and 400m individual medleys. He has represented the United States in multiple international competitions, including the Olympics and World Championships.
Kalisz's journey in swimming began at a young age. He honed his skills under the guidance of coach Bob Bowman at the North Baltimore Aquatic Club, where he trained alongside legendary swimmer Michael Phelps. His collegiate career at the University of Georgia further solidified his status as a top swimmer, where he won several NCAA titles and set multiple records.
His international breakthrough came at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where he won a silver medal in the 400m individual medley.
