For Egglesfield, this has meant going on over 2,000 auditions in his career (failing 98% of the time), surviving first-hand the events of the World Trade Center incident that left him homeless, and overcoming two bouts of life-threatening cancer while working on one of the longest-running and most-watched television shows in history.
