Kat Lazo is an award-winning director, producer, and host. The Colombian-Peruvian New Yorker has built a notable career both in front of and behind the camera, leveraging her background and expertise to shed light on diverse Latine cultures and issues.
Lazo's extensive experience in digital video production spans over 8 years, with her work receiving attention from major outlets like the New York Times, HuffPost, and BuzzFeed. She initially gained prominence as a YouTuber, eventually transitioning to larger platforms where she continued to make impactful content. Notably, she worked as a video producer for the Latine digital platform Mitú, where she created and hosted the popular series "The Kat Call."
