A former award-winning television producer, movie studio executive, owner, and TED Talk speaker, Tomlinson's life was profoundly influenced by his personal battle with Stage 3+ throat cancer. This experience exposed him to the severe impact of medical treatment devoid of compassion, pushing him into deep despair. A simple yet profound act of compassion from a caring doctor and friend was pivotal in reigniting his will to survive and fostering a commitment to enhancing compassion in healthcare.
With a reinvigorated zest for life, Tomlinson founded The C.A.R.E. Effect Movement, aiming to restore and emphasize the critical role of compassion in healthcare.
