Louie Schwartzberg is an American director, producer, and cinematographer recognized for his monumental career that spans over three decades, highlighting his profound skill in capturing breathtaking imagery for feature films, television shows, documentaries, and commercials. Schwartzberg's filmography presents a vast diversity, including directing the 2019 film, "Fantastic Fungi," and the 2014 Netflix series, "Moving Art."
Schwartzberg is a pioneer in high-end time-lapse cinematography, consistently shooting time-lapse footage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for more than 30 years. His focus lies in the intricate connections between humans and the subtleties of nature and the environment. He has also contributed to the creation of some of the most iconic and memorable film moments of our time, such as the documentary feature for Disneynature, "Hidden Beauty," which was narrated by Meryl Streep.
