Rick Alonzo Biography
Rick Alonzo is the founder and president of Rick Alonzo Ministries, known for using his artistic talents to inspire and share the Gospel. Born in the Philippines, Alonzo moved to the United States with his family of fourteen at the age of twelve. He studied art at Long Beach State University before returning to Fresno, where he served as an art director for a nonprofit organization and taught gymnastics and martial arts. Despite his success, Rick sensed something was missing in his life.
During a period of seeking God’s will, Alonzo felt a clear calling to use his artistic gifts to spread the message of Christ. Since then, his passion for both the Lord and art has touched countless lives, from children and youth to adults. His dedication to sharing the Gospel and fulfilling the Great Commission continues to inspire many.
For over 30 years, Alonzo has traveled across the United States and around the world, performing and speaking at schools, prisons, churches, corporate events, camps, hospitals, theaters, fairs, festivals, government events, malls, on television, radio, and in countless other public venues.
Alonzo resides in Central California with his wife, Michelle, and their children—Faith, Gideon, Jaron, and Jude. As an ordained evangelist, minister, certified speaker, trainer, and coach, Alonzo’s love for the Lord and his heart for people are evident in every place he serves.
