Robin Givens is an award-winning actress, director, author, and advocate for women’s rights who has been a powerful force in Hollywood for more than three decades.
Givens first came to prominence with her role in the ABC sitcom "Head of the Class" from 1986-1991 and has since developed a long list of film and TV credits. Notable works include "Women of Brewster Place," co-starring with Oprah Winfrey and "A Rage in Harlem." More recently, she has appeared in the CW series “Riverdale” as Sierra McCoy, had a recurring role in ABC’s “The Fix,” took on the lead in the OWN Network series “Ambitions,” and starred in "Batwoman" as Jada Jet. Her directorial projects include the critically acclaimed "Murder to Remember" for Lifetime and "The Nana Project," which premiered at the 2023 Soho International Film Festival.
Givens is a fierce advocate, particularly for women who are victims of abuse.
