Shohini Ghose Biography
Shohini Ghose is a renowned physicist and a pioneer in the field of quantum science. She is a professor at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada, the founding director of the Laurier Centre for Women in Science (WinS) and Chief Technology Officer of the Quantum Algorithms Institute. Ghose’s research focuses on quantum mechanics, quantum computing, and quantum information science. She has made significant contributions to the understanding of quantum chaos, entanglement, and the ways in which quantum systems interact with their environment.
In 2014, Ghose became the first scientist to observe the behavior of electrons in a manner that confirmed the key principles of quantum mechanics.
