Toheeb Jimoh is best known for playing fan favourite Sam Obisanya in smash hit series “Ted Lasso” (Apple+) for which he has recently been nominated for an Emmy. He will next be seen in the lead role in Reed Morano’s highly anticipated series “The Power” (Amazon). Jimoh garnered rave reviews playing the title role in Jimmy McGovern’s one-off drama “Anthony” (BBC1), and was most recently seen in Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch.
Stage work includes an Ian Charleson Award nominated performance in Robert Hastie’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Sheffield Crucible and, most recently, Nine Lessons and Carols at the Almeida Theatre.
