Zach Anner is a comedian, show host, TV writer, and public speaker based in the United States. He has won attention globally due to his unique life experiences as a person with cerebral palsy. Anner was propelled into the limelight when a video submission to Oprah Winfrey's "Search for the Next TV Star" competition won him his own travel show on the Oprah Winfrey Network, "Rollin’ With Zach," which first aired on December 12, 2011. In addition to his work on "Rollin' With Zach," he has also hosted other shows such as "Have A Little Faith," "Earth Your While," and "Top of the Monday" for Rainn Wilson’s media company SoulPancake.
More recently, Anner has contributed to the ABC sitcom "Speechless," not just by guest-starring but also by writing for the show. "Speechless" is centered on a teenager with cerebral palsy, making Anner's involvement particularly relevant given his personal experience. Alongside his work in television, Anner's YouTube series "Workout Wednesdays" and travel program "Riding Shotgun" have amassed over 100 million views on social media platforms.
Anner is an Ambassador for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation and has collaborated with UCPLA Wheels for Humanity, working to supply wheelchairs to people in developing countries. He has also authored a memoir titled If at Birth You Don’t Succeed: My Adventures with Disaster and Destiny, which offers a humorous yet sincere recounting of his journey toward discovering his passion and path amidst numerous challenges.
