Michael Broome earned a BA in leadership and public speaking from Appalachian State University, where he was twice elected student government president. Through independent study, he designed his major and began his career in public speaking by addressing any group composed of two or more. Since 1979, he has spoken to over 3,000 audiences worldwide, delivering talks on a plethora of topics including leadership, adversity, goals, conflict resolution, and family harmony.
